WITHOUT RESOLUTION by Chicago tattooer, David Allen.
Without Resolution will is now available in the STORE.
A 64-page collection of work made across two decades. Tattoos, paintings, process photos, and the quiet moments in between. It’s about how things change. How tattoos blur. How meaning shifts over time.
This isn’t a porfolio. It’s a meditation on impermanence… a visual record of care, intention, and the art of letting go.
Includes:
A 64 page saddle-stitched artist ‘zine on uncoated stock.
A signed mini art print (6”x 8”)
A set of aging temporary tattoos
Polaroid taken during the process of putting these together
In addition:
Two of the purchases will be randomly selected to get a free tattoo from me. ($700 value each)
Thirty will randomly receive an item of Ephemera from the past 20 years of my career (see below).
Ephemera from the past twenty years.
This page is a little catalog of departures: the objects I’ve carried through years of work, travel, and change. Some random copies of the ‘zine will have one of these added to the packaging.
Each piece is an integral fragment of my past, a witness to time. They’re not here as trophies, but as part of a personal art project about the impermanence of art and the act of creating and letting go of an outcome. Without the need for any sort of resolution.
*Items will be sent with an explanation of its significance and randomly included in the packaging of the ‘zine.
