Common Questions
Is Between a booking or calendar app
No. Between is a lightweight client management tool. It’s designed to help you store and organize client information, notes, and relationships. It intentionally does not manage scheduling or appointments.
Does Between sync with other apps
Between stores data locally on your device. Some features may link out to external tools you already use, but Between does not replace your calendar or booking system.
Is my data private
Yes. Your client information stays on your device. Between does not sell, share, or use your data for any purpose beyond the app’s functionality.
Can I customize or hide fields
Yes. Between is built to adapt to how you work. Fields can be customized, hidden, or turned back on at any time in settings.

Project Images
Images you upload to projects are stored locally on your device using browser storage (IndexedDB). These images are not uploaded to our servers unless you explicitly choose to export or share them.

Data Storage and Security
Cloud Data
Your account information, client records, appointments, projects, and notes are stored securely in our cloud infrastructure. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
Local Data
Project images are stored locally on your device to minimize cloud storage costs and give you control over your media. This means images will not automatically sync between devices unless you export and re-import them.
Row-Level Security
Your data is protected by row-level security policies, ensuring that only you can access your information. Other users cannot view, modify, or delete your data.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information or client data with third parties. Your data belongs to you and remains under your control.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data will be permanently removed from our servers. Local image data remains on your device until you clear your browser storage.

Backup
While we take reasonable measures to protect your data, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We recommend regularly exporting your data using the backup feature.
Local Storage
Project images are stored locally on your device. This means images may be lost if you clear your browser data or switch devices. We are not responsible for any loss of locally stored content.
Service Availability
We strive to maintain continuous service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The App may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its design, features, and underlying technology, is owned by Between and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the App for its intended purpose.
Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will meet your requirements, be error-free, or be continuously available.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Between shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including loss of data or business interruption.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.
