Murder Sleeve - A long session

Ashley came in and gave me many hours to work on this piece. I'm starting to love session work because I can see how each person heals. Contrast is obviously present or not and I can layer whatever I want; like paint. (see last session, then this one)
So I'm able to not fully render an area and come back and smooth it out later. Take the neck for instance. I realized her skin had enough. And that was fine. Next session I'll be able to smooth out the folds by blending the darker areas in the lights. It'll heal almost creamy because I made a point to not oversaturate this round of color.
The fingers we started this time and I've captured the dimensional forms enough, so next time I can render in detail.
It's nice being able to think in stages and trust myself to reach the final product in my head. That way I can utilize methods I have learned and problem solve (in my head) before we sit for another round.
Here's an image of the arm so far...
* Also, I tried some different techniques with the camera and flash this time. I need to toy with it a little more, but the difference is incredible. No levels or curves were adjusted in the upper image at all.
