Exactly how/where is it done? Does it wrap around the arm or is it something else going on that I can't figure out?

Nice work! The original is actually from the June 08 Juxtapoz interview with artist Andy Howell. Is it one person's arms or a couple?

I agree with Marcus, I'm also digging the negative space vs. the dark texture..The giant hole with green ooze coming out of his head is pretty sweet as well!
