Jack & Zero - Session 02

tnbc_sample.jpg

Today I completed the outline for The Nightmare Before Christmas arm (wrist to elbow). Then I jumped into shading... I've much to finish, but I wanted to share some progress shots of Jack Skellington and Zero.

Zero is a ghost - you know, of a dead dog, so I'm trying to figure out a way (before next session) to make him slightly transparent and still fade out Jack behind him.

I look at that, and I just think how grateful I am to have an awesome artist like yourself, work on it. You rule man. I'm super excited for the 24th.

Dude, that lighting on Jack's head is AMAZING.

Are you SURE you're still JUST an apprentice...?

This looks great. I have always wanted something from NB4X, but everytime I see a tattoo of it, it turns me off - until now...
I am with the poster above - I can't believe you are still learning and pull off the atmosphere on Jack like a seasoned pro.

Will you be posting the finished tattoo? I'd love to see it when it's done. Looks like it's going to rock!

This is an awesome tattoo. I'm somewhat obsessed with Tim Burton and his work. This is amazing, I'm coming to you...I've had the itch for new ink for a while and you just scratched it!
